Why cover an EV charger
Wall connectors are rated for outdoor use, but years of sun fade plastic, ice jams cable holders and wind-blown dust gets into the handle. A weatherproof box keeps the unit and its cable dry and shaded, and makes a cleaner-looking install on the front of a house.
The YONZEE box is designed around Tesla chargers and fits most other brands. Mount it with a slight downward slope and leave room for the cable to hang loosely inside.
